Paper Abstract:
|
The specific use of hypermedia in the learning and teaching reality, within a literary context, has challenged conventional assumptions about literary education and its actors and institutions, including not only the role of the lecturer/instructor but the use of e-learning materials and the different tools and critical approaches that can be adopted. Our own proposal has been to promote a digital working environment that makes the literary work evident in a more completely textual physical way that allows interaction, interrelation and linking. We have developed an itinerary using a metaphor of the medieval pilgrimage, where the students have to travel/navigate through the different medieval genres (epic, poetry and romance) as well as their theories and studies. In deciding the teaching approach and in choosing specific technologies for it, our aim was to make the maximum use of the resources available to students on the World Wide Web and to exploit the possibility of multimedia presentations combining text (and hypertext), image (both stills and videos), and sound. |
